New mobile network “wRodzinie” to be launched soon CenterNet, the telecom company affiliated to Narodowy Fundusz Inwestycyjny Midas, the main shareholder of which is Polish businessman Roman Karkosik, has recently signed a contract with
Fundacja Lux Veritatis to create a mobile telephony network in Poland. The total value of the deal is estimated at PLN 160m
(€ 35.2m).
The contract defines a framework for cooperation to create a network under the name “
wRodzinie”. According to the agreement,
CenterNet and the foundation will provide mobile services for the Catholic community gathered around media including Radio Maryja, Trwam TV, and the Nasz Dziennik daily newspaper.
The first phase of the cooperation
is to produce pre-paid services. Later, the parties will decide if they should broaden its scope of services to include a
post-paid offer.
